Red

Red is the second large painting I created, the background is in Cadmium Red Light, it was painted on canvas, and the dimensions are approximately 4'x5'.

My painting professor was quite fond of telling me that it lacked cohesion, but I disagree. The two ovoid shapes have been referred to as eyes, breasts, and amœbae. I think they were originally intended to be eyes, but it's really up to the viewer to decide, right?

Honestly, though, the image to the right does Red no justice, please check back in a few weeks and I should have a much better rendition up.
